I stopped in today for a takeout sub. This location is pretty impressive. It's the best Firehouse I've ever been inside. The place was spotlessly clean. The cashier very kind and competent. My food was good. My order was correct. The service was fast. They exceeded my expectations.
I've eat firehouse subs all over the eastern part of the United States. The one thing I can say about them is that they are consistent in their food prep. We had a pepperoni meatball and a hook and ladder and they were both superb. I would t expect any less out of a firehouse though because they're always great. The staff was friendly, the store clean and the food was great. Much better than that "healthy" sub shop that sells overpriced processed meat sandwiches and tuna that's not really tuna.
They did an awesome job today! We brought in 18 folks in with a basketball team and they got the food out quick! We've been in places where you can see the look on the employees faces that it's "oh no, I can't believe they walked in!" Not here, everyone had a great attitude. Will definitely come back whenever in the area.
